Good morning/afternoon/evening,

I wanted to send you a summary email of the work I have been doing in your area for the past month;

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Rumworth and Deane for the information they have given to the police regarding drug dealing, selling of illicit goods and concerns they have raised regarding the welfare of other residents. The information that is being passed has enabled myself to build upon which has led to some great work.. so thank you!

Last month I have stop searched 8 individuals believed to be involved in the selling of drugs which has enabled for myself and the neighbourhood team to build up the intelligence picture to not only what is going on in the area but who is involved in this area. This proactive policing tactic means officers are frequenting the areas you have raised as a concern. We will continue to monitor these said areas.

Myself, has made three arrests across the area regarding individuals concerned in the supply of drugs, failing to attend court for drug offences and for violent offences. Although arrests are not the solution to everything, the team continue to be proactive with arrests.

Myself has submitted and developed numerous intelligences based upon my own observations and investigations that concern the area. This again helps build up the knowledge around the area.

I have attached a photograph to this email regarding a positive seizure of multiple illicit goods of tobacco and vapes believed to be linked to shops on Deane Road. The information was given by the residents themselves. This has then been worked upon by a joint visit with Trading Standards and the police.

Please continue to report things to the police via 101 if you see anything you may be worth us to look at. Within these reports, I encourage you to be as descriptive as possible, being names, locations, times, clothing, vehicle registrations, shop names.
