Dear residents and local businesses,
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team have been doing this week. What’s been happening?
This week officers took part in operation REGROUP. This was an all-out task day, tackling issues that matter to residents Officers worked together in partnership with council parking wardens, citizen housing and immigration officers.
PCSO’s completed a speedwatch session on Red Lane and Kingfield Road within the city. On this occasion no speeding warnings were issued
Officers completed patrols with the Coventry City parking enforcement officers along Foleshill and Stoney Stanton Road. Many tickets were issued to vehicles and others had advise given out about inappropriate parking.
Police officers worked with immigration officials and visited various business within the Foleshill area. Officers were looking for persons working illegally and also on the look out for modern day slavery victims. Of the four businesses visited there was one arrest made for immigration purposes.
In the evening officers worked with the west midlands policing traffic unit in the effort to tackle off road bikers.
Officers have been conducting joint visits with housing officers in our local tower blocks, this is after reports of anti-social behaviour happening. All parties were advised and given warnings from the housing officers regarding behaviour within their properties.
Officers are also busy conducting mobile vehicle patrols, whilst on patrol this week officers have seized two vehicles that were being driven, one was for no insurance and the other had links to illegal activities.
Officers have been out patrolling this with the local street watch group. Officers thank the resident for taking time out of their day to patrol and take interest in what’s happening in the area they live. WHATS COMIONG NEXT
On Friday 9th May officers will be at Gallagher Retail Park giving out crime prevention advice to shoppers if you see us please come and say help and discuss any local issues.
On Saturday 10th PCSO’s are leading a story time at Foleshill Library from 2pm-3pm this is for children so if it is something you think you may enjoy please come along
