On Thursday 1 May at approximately 0450hrs a burglary took place on Highfield Drive, close to the T-junction that leads out to Harvil Road.

This was a property under complete renovation, no current occupants but tools, materials and bikes were stolen.  Entry was via the rear conservatory doors.

Action required please:

Any CCTV of eyewitness information to the police please on 101.  Burglars generally don't just visit one property, they scope the area, so if you have CCTV of suspicious activity anywhere on the Ward at around that time it could be of interest to officers.

Properties under renovation are vulnerable - remove tools overnight and fit an alarm that will detect any breach of the boundary by a potential thief.
