Window Security.

Burglaries are always a traumatic time, it's not just the loss of items but often many victims feel that their home has been violated. I think we can all agree that the whole experience is best prevented. One of the things you can do this May is take a little time to review your home security. We attend many Burglaries across the Amber Valley area and one of the most common ways that the offenders gain access to your property is via the windows. Most people are conscientious when it comes to securing their doors with adequate locks but often forget the windows. These are often the weak point as window locks by design are not as strong. Take some time over the Bank Holiday weekend to have a quick look at your windows. Why not consider upgrading them with Sash Jammers, these are relatively inexpensive and usually easy to fit as a after market upgrade to most window frames.
