🚨 Busy Days for Melton Town South Beat Team! 🚨

Wednesday: A male was arrested for burglary. During searches, we found 2 bottles of alcohol with tags still on. 🕵️‍♂️ Thanks to quick enquiries with a local supermarket, we confirmed he had stolen them that morning! He’s been bailed for further enquiries on the burglary and charged for the theft.

Thursday: Alongside PC O’Rourke from Melton Town North Beat, we arrested a female and a male for malicious communications. After interviewing them in custody, they were further arrested for persistently using a public communication network to cause annoyance/inconvenience/anxiety. They’ve been released with bail conditions. These arrests were related to false communications that led to unnecessary emergency responses. 🚔
