Today PSCO Claire Jones arranged for Crime Scene Investigator Katie Bird of South Wales Police to visit Year 6 at Brynhyfryd Primary School. 

The year group have been learning about a topic: DNA & forensics. It was a fun interactive afternoon, where the children learnt how fingerprint, footprint and blood evidence is captured at a crime scene. Everyone was listening attentively and so excited to learn about the role. We had some excellent questions asked and many pupils shows an interest in a career with our police force. Year 6 you did a great job!!!
