Community Networking at Much Wenlock Primary School

On the afternoon of Thursday 1st May, PC Tyrer joined PCSO Scott at Much Wenlock Primary School.  They introduced themselves to years 1 and 2 and explained the difference between their job roles, their uniform and the equipment they carry.

PC Tyrer covered several topics of discussion, including seatbelts, road safety and the importance of cycling helmets.

The children were very receptive and asked lots of questions.  They were given the opportunity to look around the police car and try on different items of uniform.

Events like this help build confidence, provide understanding for the job we do and is a great way to meet our young community.

If you need to speak to the team, please use our email address bmw.snt@westmercia.police.uk Please note, you should not use this email to report an incident/crime.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
