Drugs, Vaping and Tabacco

Good Afternoon Resident

Yesterday morning I was welcomed to Wrotham Secondary School and delivered 3 assemblies to year groups 7, 8 and 9 about drugs, vaping and tobacco. The educational input covered the affects that drugs and alcohol have on the individual, families and communities, the law around each subject matter and the powers police and teachers have to search, seize or confiscate various items.

Vaping has become very popular over the last few years and it is important for children to be educated on them.

For more information about young people and vaping please see this NHS link: https://www.nhs.uk/better-health/quit-smoking/help-others-quit/young-people-and-vaping/

Kind regards

Olivia
