Please can all owners keep their bikes locked up, to a secure anchor point, even when at home. Cyclists, who use tracking apps, please do not start, and end them at your home addresses’

A resident has reported finding a male climbing into their property through an open downstairs window, but when challenged by the occupant has immediately run off. The male was described as white, mid 20s, brown hair, but wearing a grey hoodie.

A parked van has been broken into and 10 Makita power tools have been stolen plus a Makita multi charger and an LED Dome light. Some of the boxes were left scattered about outside the van.

Regan Close

In what seems a good example of Neighbourhood Watch, Police were called to a neighbour’s parked van in the road he could see was being broken into by at least 2 males. The van’s owner had previously been notified his neighbour. The suspects were interrupted by other neighbours and caught by the Police who came to the scene promptly.

A resident has reported that a person or persons have tried to break into his parked van, as he can see damage marks to the van’s door, possible done by a screwdriver or similar tool. Apparently, a neighbour’s CCTV has captured the activity.

There have been several reports of e-bikes being ridden fast and irresponsibly by youngsters in hoodies and making rude gestures to motorists who might have to stop for them. Other ASB Nuisance reports that the youngsters are continually revving up vehicle engines.
