FLY TIPPING 

Sadly many of you in the rural/farming community will have first hand knowledge of this obnoxious offence.  Every aspect of it is annoying and can be costly.   We've recently had cases of flytipping in the Corfe Mullen area.   The impact for you as farmers is never underestimated.  

   Dorset Police Rural Crime Team and Dorset/BCP Councils liaise with the NFTPG (National Fly-Tipping Prevention Group). This is an excellent organisation that can offer sound advice and support. 

  Attached is an aide-memoire from the NFTPG for Landowners offering best advice on how to protect your land.  

Dorset Police Rural Crime Team would urge you to ALWAYS REPORT incidents.   In many cases the fly-tipping is committed by organised criminals known to the Force - people we would very much like to apprehend!
