Chelmsley Wood Team Newsletter

Meet Aaron our new PCSO, he looks forward to seeing you when out and about on patrol.

We hope you have been enjoying the weather and are looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend. Please remember if you are leaving your property unattended to close & lock all doors and windows even if it is to nip out for 15 minutes.

If you are making the most of the sunshine by getting out in the garden remember to lock gates, secure sheds and not leave equipment like mowers and strimmers around unattended.

What we’ve been up to this week.

Schools are back for Summer Term so patrols around our senior schools have resumed at the end of school day.

Tuesday evening had myself and PC Spoor visiting the Centurion Running club at North Solihull Sports Centre,

to talk all things safety whilst taking to the tarmac around our roads.  We chatted about how to keep yourselves and possessions safe, from having running buddies to downloading the Hollie Guard Ap on your phone. We explained how best to report incidents to Police and also that you can report poor lighting, signs of drug use & verbal harassment etc for areas that make you feel unsafe via police.uk/streetsafe

If you run or are part of a group/club and would like us to visit please email chelmsleywood@westmidlands.police.uk

The team have responded to residents’ calls raising a community concern around Vehicle Anti-Social Behaviour and Crime involving mopeds on our local roads. After viewing CCTV and identify some of the culprits an arrest has been made. Please continue to make us aware of the issues that corn you in the local area.
