On Saturday Pershore SNT were patrolling Whittington when they came across a broken down vehicle in a live slip lane. The disabled driver was still in the vehicle and was very distressed as she needed to get medication for her diabetes.
PCSO Stirling ensured the driver got home safe (for a lie down in a dark room ), whilst PCSO Rice stayed with the vehicle - once he returned traffic control resumed until recovery arrived .
It is incidents like this and helping out members of our community in need, that make the job worthwhile .
