You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on WOODROYD TERRACE, this occurred in the early hours of the28/04/25. 

Between times stated 3 unknown suspects attend locus. suspects distract the large Japanese Akita dog that lives in the front outside garden by throwing food at the dog. suspects then let the dog out of the gated front garden before locking dog out of the garden. suspects then gain entry to the dwelling by forcing open the front living room window before climbing into the house. suspects gain entry to house before stealing the car keys to a BMW X7. keys are hung up on the wall by the front door. . 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 01:30 and 02:30 to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
