Weekly Crime Update

Good Evening Resident

Over the last 7 days there have been:

Four Thefts from a Motor Vehicle on York Close, Lancaster Close, Franklin Road and Oxford Street. Offender/s have stolen satnavs, front bumpers and lights from vehicles.

One Burglary and one Attempt Burglary on Norman Road. Offender/s of the burglary gained entry to the property by snapping the lock on the rear UPVC door and have taken the vehicle keys and the vehicle which was a Blue BMW.

The offender/s of the attempt burglary were unable to gain entry to the property due to the door being fitted with an Anti-Snap lock. Nothing stolen.

Please be reassured, Police are investigating these offences and high visibility patrols are in place.

CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE

Please consider fitting Anti-Snap locks to your property to avoid becoming the victim of crime. Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked. Never leave valuables on display in properties or vehicles.

Kind Regards,
