Theft of Canal Boat - Granby Lane, Riddlesden BD20

Dear Resident,

At 2.48pm on 27/04/2025 a report was received that two suspicious people were seen on a canal boat moored up by the Granby Lane swing bridge. The police were called and officers attended and detained a female on the boat, the male suspect jumped into the canal and swam across to the opposite bank, making off on foot. The suspects had moved the boat from it's original mooring spot and  attempted to paint out the name on the boat to disguise it's identity. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the male involved.
