Crime Report Sutton in Ashfield for the week to midnight Wednesday 23 April 2025


Officers from the Sutton Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Willets Court Community Centre, Limb Crescent, Sutton in Ashfield on Monday 28th April 2025 between 19:00 hours and 20:30 hours.

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

Between 8.50pm and 10.50pm on Thursday 17 April in Stoneyford Road, Sutton in Ashfield, the back door of a property was damaged to gain entry and four electric bikes, stored in the front bedroom and bathroom were stolen. Neighbours witnessed a white Audi car and a white Transit van pull up and then speed off around 9.30pm. 

Between Sunday 6 and Friday 18 April in Langford Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a back door was damaged and the lock broken in an attempt to gain entry to a property.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 4.00am and 5.15am on Friday 18 April in Church Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a blue Lexmoto ZSA motorbike parked outside an address was stolen by two people with their hoods up.

Robbery

Around 1.46 0n Monday 21 April in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, an attempt was made by three males to steal a mobile phone, punching the male victim in the face. Two were described as tanned/Arabic, average height, not wearing shirts. One had blonde hair. They ran off towards ASDA.

Criminal Damage

Around 8.20pm on Saturday 19 April in Chatsworth Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a ball was kicked at a window cracking the glass. Children were seen playing with a football in the street.

ASB

At 7.55pm on Thursday 17 April at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of three white males age, 11 to 16 years old, riding around in car park 8, causing a nuisance, being abusive to staff and refusing to leave. One in black clothing riding a black pushbike, a second in black clothing riding a pink pushbike, the third, on foot wearing a small grey hoodie. They were also messing around near the ambulances and may have damaged wiper blades.
