Road Safety - Buntingford Bypass

Dear Resident,

Yesterday (Tuesday 15th April 2025), police received a report of children playing around the Buntingford Bypass between the Esso and BP garages.

This is an extremely busy road with consistent traffic throughout the day.

Police will be monitoring the area throughout their regular patrols and encourage residents to ensure that their children are playing in the safe play area's situated in Buntingford.

Please report any further incidents to police using the police Emergency number 999 or non-emergency number 101.

Every four months, we ask the public for feedback through our Priority Setting Survey. This survey allows us to gather your feedback and establish three priorities for your local area. The results of the survey are reviewed by local officers like me to understand how the community feels.

If you have not yet done so, please complete the feedback request linked below. We will review this towards the end of April and set our priorities to work on up until August, when we will repeat the process for the Autumn Priorities.

Please click here to complete the survey

Your feedback is so important and allows us as local officers to understand what matters most to you.
We will publish the decided priorities in May and then update you on the progress of them between now and August.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Sincerely,
