Women's Safety Day

A Women's safety day was held today at Crossfit Great Stour and what an incredible turnout.

This event was all about empowerment, education and community. From practical self-defence with Gemma from amk_kravmaga, to thought-provoking talks covering women's wellbeing, mental health, and the pressures on women from Laura from Rocksoliduk. It was a day full of strength and support.

We also welcomed inputs from Social Enterprise Kent and Cancer Smart Project, raising vital awareness around cancer symptoms, self-checking and screening.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, shared their stories and took the time out of their weekend to prioritise their wellbeing.

We are hoping to have more events just like this and the feedback from today's event was extremely positive and we can not wait to run further events like this for women and men too.
