Foleshill Neighbourhood Team Update

Dear Residents

Operation prosperity

Foleshill officers worked alongside road traffic team and have been involved in an operation aimed towards the use of off-road vehicles, causing ASB, and helping prevent dangerous bikes causing risks to individuals

Arrests

Officers from Foleshill will be actively pursuing any local criminals with outstanding arrest warrants. Please be aware that if there is a warrant for an arrest, our officers will ensure a apprehension.

Street watch

Are you interested in joining street watch in your area,  as a volunteer you are required to dedicate two hours each month to patrol the local area.

You would  identify and report any issues to the Police and will be accompanied by Officers at various times during their patrols. If you are interested in establishing a group of your own, please reach out to sam.odell@westmidlands.police.uk.

Speed watch

We are also seeking public assistance for our Community Speed watch program. Volunteers will receive training to operate a basic speed laser. Following a risk assessment of a road, they will monitor vehicle speeds with Officers and those exceeding the limits will receive letters addressing their driving behaviour.

We are only able to have a maximum of five members of the community at one time when undertaking a Community Speed watch Operation however we can arrange as many as possible that you may want! So please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please feel free to send us a message via WMnow for more information regarding this.
