Welcome to your local newsletter on Neighbourhood Watch for the Peterborough area. The following are just a few snippets of what is going on across Peterborough City and villages. Safer Streets 5- while this project for parts of the Park ward officially ended on 31st March the scheme still has work to do to help create more neighbourhood watch scheme s in that area. Do you live in that area? Can you give any time to help out? We need helpers to work in pairs to deliver flyer to front doors, volunteers to help run a stand open to the public to help further. We are are planning to run some local events to help promote Operation Mark IT. Do make contact if you can spare an hour two it would be early evenings now its lighter, Saturday or Sunday mornings at you convenience. Next Coordinators meeting - will be the South area Neighbourhoods -held on Thursday 17th April t 7pm- and is for Coordinators and members of the Action Group- If you are located south of the river Nene it applies to your area, do check that your coordinator is attending especially if there is a long standing issue in your Watch area that needs to help and guidance. Help Offered at Hampton Hargate- the group photo shown here is a site meeting that was recently held at Hampton Hargate Way to discuss an consider solutions to some recent anti social behaviour and crimes. City Council members, Parish Council members invited me along, with the blue book, to investigate prospective solutions. Do you live in that area ? We are asking you to get more residents/neighbour signed up to neighbourhood watch. Please pass the word. Charity Registration We are please to announce that the Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch Association is now a registered charity CIO No. 1212057 making you, of course. a charity member. We decided to apply because it would give us even more standing and a greater opportunity to be successful when applying for funds. 100 New Homes join Neighbourhood Watch at Orton Longueville

We are supporting at least three coordinators in different locations who are responding to suspected county lines drugs activities.
