Garden and Home security

Good morning,

With the nice weather approaching I am sure a lot of you will be maintaining and investing in your gardens. As we all know items for the gardens and plants cost a lot of money so I would like to pass on some advice. Recently one of our local restaurant's Osteria in Chipperfield had a large Olive tree stolen from the front of their property.

1. Large plant pots need to be fixed down to the ground.

2. Secure access to your garden area, ensure locks work and gates shut properly.

3. Fix fences and boundaries, it is also worth investing in bushes that have thorns on them, these reinforce boundaries and can stop people getting onto your property.

4. Secure and lock ladders and don't leave them on show.

5. When leaving your property double check all windows and doors have been closed and locked.

I wish you all an enjoyable and safe spring and summer.

Regards

Paul
