Quarries - Shavers End - Woodbury

Good afternoon,

Our Safer Neighbourhood Team have heightened patrols again at the quarries on our patch, with the beautiful weather we're getting we find that more people tend to float towards these quarries, which are private property so anyone that is up there will be escorted off of the premises by ourselves. We have also been told that parents seem to be dropping their children off there for the day when we're in the height of summer, I'd like to remind you how dangerous these quarries actually are let alone the fact they're private property, shavers end suffered a landslide last year which caused tremendous damage and could've been fatal if anyone was around, there is strong potential that further landslides can occur in the future.

These patrols will continue in order to keep everyone safe.
