On the evening of the 2nd and in the early hours of the 3rd of April, there has been a spate of attempted break-ins of sheds by unknown individuals.

In an attempt to deter these individuals, please ensure that gates and sheds are secure, CCTV is operational (if installed) and use security lighting if available.

There are two incidences where it is believed that the suspects may have been trying to access the properties for motorcycles.

Local officers are aware and will attempt to increase patrols in the area.

If you suspect someone is trying to break into your property, prioritise your safety and the safety of your family and call 999 immediately if you feel threatened or if the burglary is in progress.
