Signage |

Hi Resident I've had an email from PCSO Paul Hurst with regards to NHW signs, I have some in my store and will happily bring you a couple, as they are normally put on lampposts on entry to a road/area and Paul tells me there is just one road. There is technically a charge but they can be bought and an expenses form filled in for NHW County and reimbursement made, subject to prior agreement. All this information is available on the NHW Site. As for fixing, the bottom edge of the sign needs to be a minimum of 2.2 metres from the ground and affixed using large cable ties (supplied), the number of the lamppost needs to be noted and sent to me when the signs have been affixed, Health and Safety wise, the scheme coordinator is responsible for affixing signs, either personally or getting someone to do it, it is best if someone assists by steadying any ladder/steps that are used. I am happy to drop a couple of signs to you on Thursday 3rd April around midday if this suits. | ||
