To remind the residents of SWADLINCOTE , BELMONT ST, the street between CHURCH ST and CIVIC WAY near MacDonalds is an Access Only Road . This means that you can only use this road if you are visiting a premises on BELMONT ST, visiting MacDonalds, Lidl, Halfords etc is not a reason to use BELMONT ST. BELMONT ST is not a shortcut between CHURCH ST and CIVIC WAY , if you use this as such the penalty can be up to 3 points on your license and £100 fine. From 28/03/25 there are road works on CHURCH ST blocking the road near the roundabout, this does not mean BELMONT ST can be used as a diversion and if caught a court summons can be expected |
