Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 19 March 2025


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Sainsburys Local, Watnall Road, Hucknall. Thursday 27 March 7.00pm- 8:00pm. 

Hucknall Library, South Street, NG15 7BS. Thursday 3 Apr 2:00pm-3.00pm. 

Keycraft, Watnall Road, Hucknall.  Thursday 3 April 9:30am–10:30am. 

Hucknall Leisure Centre, Linby Road, NG15 7TX. Fri 04 Apr 10:00am – 11.00am. 

Hucknall Garden Centre & Keycraft Garden Buildings, Watnall Road, Hucknall, NG15 6EN. Saturday 12 April 10.00am – 11.00am 

Community Event (District level) Bike Marking Event. Titchfield Park, Park Drive, Hucknall, NG15 7LU. 10.00am -1.00pm

A report at 4.25pm on Thursday 20 March that at some time in the past five weeks on land at New Farm, Annesley Road, Hucknall, both sides of a caravan had been bashed in, paint sprayed over it, every window smashed and the door put in to gain entry. Inside a heater, sink unit and toilet seat were ripped out. The following items were stolen- a P. A. system including the speakers, rosettes, trophies and a pair of secateurs.

Between 7.00pm and 10.00pm on Thursday 20 March in High Street, Hucknall, a charcoal grey Carrera Vengeance mountain bike, chained to a bench opposite the Arc Byron Cinema, was stolen.

Between 5.00pm and 6.00pm on Friday 21 March in Linby Road, Hucknall, a lime green Specialise Stumpjumper 2015 Carbon Evo Pro mountain bike, locked up outside the Hucknall Leisure Centre was stolen. Later in response to a social media appeal a sighting was reported of a male pushing the bike up Broomhill Road.

At some time between August 2024 and Wednesday 26 March a white Swift Charisma 555 caravan was stolen from Top Wighay Farm, Linby.

Robbery

Around 7.40am on Friday 21 March in Holgate Walk, Abbots Drive, Hucknall, three young males, wearing balaclavas, pushed a female over as she left a property she was visiting and stole her mobile work phone. They made off on e-scooters.

Criminal Damage

Between 6.00pm on Wednesday 19 and 10.00am on Thursday 20 March in Cherry Avenue, Hucknall, the glass in a front door was cracked.

ASB

At 4.47pm on Saturday 22 March in High Street, Hucknall six or seven teenagers were pushing B & M shopping trolleys into a flat door and the front of the restaurant next door. They were told off by B & M staff, who came to collect the trolleys, and made off towards the Byron Cinema and Station Road.

At 5.34pm on Saturday 22 March in Bestwood Road, Hucknall, there was a problem when three youngsters, wearing masks and hoodies, entered the Bestwood Store and refused to leave when asked. They were joined by around ten other 15/16year old teenagers who shouted swear words at the store owner.

At 4.39pm on Sunday 23 March in High Street, Hucknall, a report of four 13/15 year old males on the roof of Ladbrokes and the Post Office. Again at 6.04 pm a report of at least three males age 13/15 years, in black clothing on the same roof area.

At 7.06pm on Sunday 23 March in Linby Road, Hucknall, a report of a group of young males on the roof of the Hucknall Leisure Centre, wearing masks, mainly dressed in black, some with grey joggers.
