Gum-believable scenes at Asda , Ventura Park yesterday (25/03) when officers were deployed over the Airwaves to attend following a reported theft of chewing gum.

The offenders were soon located and upon checking their vehicle, gum-believably, we found more chewing gum stashed in their boot. We had to burst their bubble and inform them they couldn't Wrigley's out of it and were under arrest for theft.

The suspects clearly didn’t chews wisely and were left bumping their gums about being detained. They may never have Mentos steal but nevertheless found themselves in Orbit of trouble.

All the gum recovered was in mint condition. Officers will now go the Extra mile in order to find out where the second stash was stolen from.
