Offender arrested and charged

Good news.

 Following on from a Bee in the Loop that was sent out to some residents on 17/01/2025 in relation to a male who had committed a theft from motor vehicle and a vehicle interference on the Ashton Hurst ward, we are happy to tell you all that this male has now been arrested and charged with 19 offences in total.

In the early hours of 17/01/25 we had reports of 2 vehicle crime offences that we believed had been committed by the same offender. After these reports PCSO Chadwick and PCSO Brockett identified a further 5 offences by the same male.

This male then went on to commit offences on the Salford and City of Manchester divisions.

He was arrested, charged and remanded in custody and it due to appear in court this morning. The offender was also wanted on recall to prison.
