Community Speed Watch Event held at Sheffield Rd, Glossop (Tuesday 25th March 2025)


Glossop SNT - Community Speed Watch Event 

 

The Hadfield Community Speed Watch Volunteers completed an event on the A57 at Sheffield Rd, Glossop - between 4 pm and 5 pm, today, Tuesday 25th  March. The speed limit on this stretch of road  is 30 mph.

 

A total of  370 vehicles were recorded driving by the team during the time the event was held - and on this occasion 11 of those were recorded speeding above 35 mph.

 

 

Those 11 drivers will now receive a warning letter from Derbyshire Constabulary about their speeding in Glossop today.

 

Thank you to our three volunteers who completed the event today .
