On 23/03/2025 at around 16:05 we received a report of a male brandishing a knife in Bancroft, Glascote Heath.

Officers attended and it became apparent that this male had assaulted another male.

A knife was also located in a nearby bin.

At 16:30 the offending male was located by officers in Ellerbeck, Stonydelph.

The 23 year old male, from Tamworth, was initially arrested for affray. He was further arrested on suspicion of assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has since been released on conditional bail pending investigation.
