School Visit- Eckington SNT

Resident

***School Visit***

PC Kendellen and PCSO Furmidge have been in Eckington Camm's primary school today, delivering a talk on Knives and Offensive weapons at the request of the school.

They spoke to students about the dangers and consequences of carrying knives, encouraging open conversations and promote young people to make better choices. This creates a safer environment in our neighbourhoods.

It was also really nice at the end to answer any questions they had about the session or just about the police in general.

These interactions between Local Police and Children are crucial for building trust, promoting safety, preventing crime, encouraging good decision-making, and breaking down stereotypes.
