Good Morning Resident

Yesterday was such a beautiful day and I was lucky enough to spend all morning at Offham Primary School. 

In half hour slots I met with every single year group, from reception all the way to Year 6. They came outside and could ask me any questions, see my police kit and get to sit in the police car! They all loved the sirens!

The reason these kind of events are so important is so that children feel comfortable to speak to police officers. My role is to have positive engagement with children so as they grow into teenagers and young adults they have a greater understanding of the Police and our role in the community. We are not someone our children should be afraid of, but here to help them always.
