Crime Alert - Criminal Damage

Dear Resident,

 

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Criminal Damage from Percy Street, Goole.

The incident occurred sometime between 21/02/2025 and 28/02/2025. The offender(s) approached an Audi TT that was parked on the street and punctured two of the tyres on the vehicle. 

 

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref:  25*27674.

 

Alternatively you could call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You don’t have to leave your name and you may even receive a reward.

 

If you have been a victim of criminal damage, please follow the below prevention advice -

1. Contact the Police as soon as possible on 101, or on 999 if the incident is on-going.

2. Consider reviewing the general security of your property, including CCTV and lighting.

3. Increase the surveillance around the front of your property by restricting any boundary wall/fence to a maximum of 1m in height.

4. Keep the vehicle locked at all times, and ensure you double lock it and make sure that your vehicle alarm is set.

5. If possible park your vehicle on a drive or as close to your home as possible.

6. When away from Home Park in a busy, well overlooked area. If the car will be there after dark try to find somewhere illuminated
