Sector Drop In Event - Wednesday 12 March - Your Invitation |
||
Dear NW Member Scheme Coordinators have already received an invitation to this event but we'd love individual NW members to come as well, so this is your invitation to join us on Wednesday evening, 12th March. Come and look at the local crime statistics for your Ward and your Sector, talk to the people that understand your local area, and tell us what matters most to you. Met Police Inspector James Griffin, who has responsibility for Neighbourhood Watch liaison within the Borough, will be there along with his Sector Sergeants, Eric Ostrowski, Kristina Poole and Toan Chung, and Council Community Safety Officers Michael Blair and Victoria Boyle; they will all be keen to listen to your concerns. As organisers, your Wandsworth Neighbourhood Watch Association will invite feedback from you on whether this format of event should be repeated. Did you know, we have 38 local NW schemes in your Sector of Wandsworth, which covers seven different Council Wards? This drop in event is a fantastic opportunity to network, to raise issues of concern and look for common themes across the seven Wards of Wandle, Wandsworth Common, Trinity, Tooting Broadway, Tooting Bec, South Balham and Furzedown. Tickets are free but it is essential that you book your place so we can make sure we have enough hand outs prepared for everyone to take away with them and that the refreshments won't run out! We are meeting at the United Services Club, 268 Balham High Road, SW17 7AJ. Come anytime between 6.30 and 8pm - no set start time - this is a drop in event. ![]() Here's a link to reserve a free ticket via Eventbrite If you have any problems reserving your space online, just email: WandsworthNWassociation@gmail.com and let us know you plan to be there.
