01 - Burglary Appeal - Sutton in Craven

Important Message – Please do not ignore

 

Police are investigating a burglary in your area that occurred on Monday 24th of February at 1.05 am on The Coppice, Sutton Fields, Sutton.  The window of the property was smashed and it is possible the offenders were trying to steal the car keys, for the vehicle on the driveway.  The offenders were disturbed and did not manage to remove anything from the address.

  • Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after? 
  • Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

    Security Advice

     

  • Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.
  • Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
  • Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property. 
  • Consider fitting a ring doorbell or similar to your property.
