Glossop Police would like to thank members of the public who assisted during an incident yesterday.


Glossop SNT/Glossop LPU (Local Policing Unit) - Update and Thankyou

 

Yesterday, at approximately 2:15 pm on Thursday, February 20th, a 12-year-old girl was involved in a road traffic collision with a bus on High St West in Glossop.

The young individual was promptly transported to the hospital from the scene and is currently in the process of making a positive recovery.

The family and Derbyshire Constabulary wish to express their gratitude to the numerous members of the public who took the initiative to stop and assist during this unfortunate incident.

 

Their actions included halting traffic until emergency services arrived, clearing water from the area, and administering first aid to the injured individual.

 

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who provided assistance on that day. The incident reference number is 638 - 20/02/25.
