Att theft of a motorbike

Dear Resident

Whilst I (and I imagine most of you) where safely tucked up in bed at approx 02:20 on Sunday morning a Simonstone resident was alerted to 2 males on his driveway paying particular attention to his motorbike with a set of bolt croppers the resident was able to activate an alarm which spooked the offenders and they made off.  Officers swiftly deployed to the area and arrested 2 males matching the descriptions. The 2 males remain under investigation. 

Please take a few minutes to consider your own homes security as I have no doubt that this incident may have had a different outcome if it wasn't for the measures in place at this address and whilst a rude awakening for the bikes owner at least it has lead to a positive result.
