Officers helped the city centre beat team with Op Pedalfast. Clamping down on the use of e-scooters and illegal e-bikes. 🚲

Sgt Wilson liaised with managers of a retail chain to discuss how we can jointly target, and reduce reports of shop thefts, working in line with the beat priorities. 🛒

PC Hegarty has worked along side the night time economy on Project Vigilant, targeting VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) offenders. ❗

A serial offender of shop thefts, breaches of his criminal behaviour order (CBO) and public order offences was arrested, remanded in custody and sentenced to HMP. 👏🏼

A patch walk with the councils Parks team was completed around Castle Gardens. This was to identify measures on how to keep people safe in there and reduce drug related offences being committed. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

2 of our officers were again involved in a court case which concluded with the defendant being found guilty of rape and controlling, coercive and violent behaviour 🚔

PCSO's have been out to reiterate the importance of locking up windows and doors to prevent opportunistic burglars from entering their homes. 🏘️
