Priorities - Parking in the Bakewell Area

As per our priorities in the Bakewell area your Safer Neighbourhood Team are liaising with other agencies to see how inconsiderate parking can be improved in the area.  Today the Civil Enforcement Officer issued 7 tickets for the following;
Double Yellow Lines x 2
Parking in an electric charging bay but not charging
Overstaying time limit  x 4
Other tickets were also issued in carparks due to overstaying and failure to obtain a pay and display ticket.

Your county council will deal with issues where a vehicles is parked in, or on:
limited waiting bays
double and single yellow lines
on street pay and display bays
residents’ parking zones
Blue Badge bays
loading bays
bus stops
taxi bays
school keep clears
clearways

To report vehicles to Derbyshire County Council:
email: contact.centre@derbyshire.gov.uk
tel: 01629 533190.

Derbyshire police will deal with illegal parking, where the vehicle is parked:
on zig zag lines
dangerously
in a way that would prevent emergency vehicles from accessing

Due to numerous complaints from members of the public Derbyshire Police will also be working with Lady Manners School over the next few weeks in relation to parking outside school at pickup and drop off times.  Parking on the zigzags could land you with a £100 fine and points on your licence.

If any students are struggling with mobility issues, school are happy to make arrangements in order that you can be collected closer to school.  Please contact them to discuss further.
