1. ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCLUDING DRUG MISUSE AND CRIMINAL DAMAGE IN AND AROUND THE “DUGOUTS” ON HOOD PARK IN ASHBY

PRIMARY AIMS

To reduce instances of ASB involving drug related activity and criminal damage in designated zone.

Support local residents who have voiced their concerns over incidents of such activity.

Regular updates to community should generate further reassurance

2.  ROAD SAFTEY INITIATIVE RAVENSTONE VILLAGE

Promote Road Safety throughout the village.

Conduct speeding operations at peak times when issue is most prevalent.

The local community have raised speeding vehicles as a primary concern and offences are being committed where Camera Van deployment is not possible

.3. CRIME PREVENTION PATROLS TARGETED AT THEFT OF AND FROM MOTOR VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.

PRIMARY AIMS

Reduce vehicle crime.

This is a more focussed priority concentrating specifically on vehicle crime in residential areas.

The previous broader priority which was well received by the community especially by those who have fallen victim to this type of offence.

Beat Team to utilise crime trend data to prioritise their patrols in targeted area and increase awareness in the community.

We will also harden targets through expedient Acquisitive Crime Alerts, ORLO (Force Facebook portal), personal visits and bespoke crime prevention advice.

YOU SAID WE DID & SUMMARY FOR DEC 24 & WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED OVER THE LAST THREE MONTHS.

THIS IS IN ADDITION TO OUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKING AND DUTY COMMITMENTS.

OPEN SPACE ASB / DRUG MISUSE HOOD PARK

Used a Sentinel report to manage ASB at the location.

We are actively investigating a drug dealing report at the location.

Action has been taken against youths causing ASB at the location and those responsible now have Police records.

At our request the football pitch “dugouts “have been repainted by the local council which has covered up the obscene graffiti at the location.

We have conducted 30 dedicated patrols in the area and this has contributed to a substantial fall in reports of ASB.

Reports of ASB at this location are reduced.

ROAD SAFETY RAVENSTONE

We have taken action against 32 motorists for excess speed.

The Beat Team have a database of offending drivers.

We have conducted 6 separate speeding operations in the village.

We plan to rollout the same priority in PACKINGTON in January 2025

ACQUISITIVE CRIME - THEFT OF AND FROM MOTOR VEHICLES.

Sent out 17 Crime Alerts and followed up with Beat Team visits to targeted areas.

We have spoken, in person, to over 130 local residents and given them updates about the type of crime and methods used to commit each offence.

We have prioritised our patrols in the areas affected and this has reduced the incidents of Theft of and From Motor Vehicles on the Ashby Beat.

We have also arranged and attended 24 Beat Engagements in the last 3 months meeting our local community face to face to address their issues.
