Sandwich and Woodnesborough Newsletter - November 2024

This month, PC Bowler and I attended a Cubs meeting and spoke to the group about what it was like to be a police officer. We let them try on some of our uniform and look around the marked police vehicle. The children were very enthusiastic and asked some great questions. If you would like the police to attend any local events such as schools or clubs, please contact csu.dover@kent.police.uk.

Over the next month, Kent Police will take part in the annual national drink and drug driving champaign. We will be proactively stopping vehicles, conducting preliminary tests at the roadside, and arresting those who are over the legal limit. Please can I remind everyone to plan your journey to and from celebrations over the festive period if you are planning to drink alcohol; arrange a taxi, or a lift from friends or family. Do not put yourself or other road users at risk.
