Op Sceptre - tackling knife crime -Mobile Surrender Bins

This week we’re supporting Op Sceptre, a national campaign to tackle knife crime.

We know locally knife crime is relatively low compared to other areas, however, we’re not complacent and continue to take action to stop people from carrying a knife in the first place.

We have a mobile Surrender Bin visiting the following locations this week.

Tuesday 12th November 12:00-15:00hrs - Cathedral Square Worcester City Centre (Opposite the Worcester Cathedral).

Wednesday 13th November - 12:00 - 12:45hrs Sainsburys St Johns Swanpool Walk WR2 4EL.

Wednesday 14th November 13:00 - 13:45hrs The Range Hylton Road WR2 5JW.

Friday 16th November 18:30 - 19:15hrs Co-Op 46 Ombersley Road WR3 7EU.

Friday 16th November 19:30hrs - 20:15hrs - Perdiswell Leisure Centre Bilford Road WR3 8DX.

If you can't make any of these locations, we have a permanent Surrender Bin located at our public front counter at Worcester Police Station Castle Street WR1 3QX.

If you are concerned about someone who may be involved in knife crime, or on the periphery of becoming involved, please let us know. Or, you can report this anonymously to Crimestoppers www.crimestoppers-org.uk. Information for children and young people can be found here Give information about crime 100% anonymously | Fearless | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)
