PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY) (VARIOUS ROADS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Pembrokeshire County Council has made the following Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for the prevention of obstruction etc.

WHEREAS during certain hours on Sunday 10th November 2024, due to Remembrance Sunday Services taking place at various locations, those roads as detailed in the schedule to this notice will be thronged and liable to be obstructed.

Pembrokeshire County Council pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 DO HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that for the purpose of preventing obstruction in the said Street on the said days, the following regulations shall be observed:-

1. Subject to those provisions contained in article 2, those roads as detailed in the schedule to this notice shall be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 10th November, 2024 whilst services and parades associated with Remembrance Sunday take place on or adjacent to the public highway.

2. Nothing in article 1 shall apply to any vehicle being used by the emergency services, access for residents to property located within the closure area, or anything done with the permission or under the direction of a Police Officer or Traffic Management Officer.

3. The restrictions imposed by this Order will only apply during such time and to such extent as indicated by a Police Officer.

- Tenby - South Parade, Trefalgar Road, White Lion Street, High Street

- St. Davids - High Street, Cross Square, The Pebbles

- Neyland - High Street, Riverside Avenue, Kensington Road, John Street, Frederick Street

- Johnston - Church Road

- Goodwick - Church Road, Church Terrace, Main Street

- Milford Haven - Sandhurst Road, Priory Street, Fulke Street, Francis Street, Mansfield Street, The Rath.
