Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 8 May 2024

Attached below is information from Nottinghamshire police who are holding a “Community Kicks Day” Sunday 9th June at Gresham Sports Park in Notts.

This is a force wide community engagement and 7 a-side youth football tournament.

Age groups for teams are: 10-12 | 13-14 | 15-16 

 

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

In the week before 2.00am on Sunday 5 May in Albert Street, Hucknall, the door to a room in a shared house was kicked in to gain entry. A TV, Sony Playstation 5, Nike tracksuit, Adidas trainers, crisps and chocolates were stolen.

At 12.50pm on Friday 3 May in Yorke Street, Hucknall, a male entered a lorry parked near Byron Carpets and stole a Samsung Flip-4 phone.

Theft

At some time on Wednesday 1 May in Harker Close, Hucknall, a white iPhone 12, accidentally dropped on a driveway, was stolen.

At 2.16am on Monday 6 May in Spring Street, Hucknall, six pairs of shoes and some plants left outside a property were stolen.

Criminal Damage

Between 6.30pm and 8.35pm on Wednesday 8 may in West Street, Hucknall, the windscreen of a red Vauxhall Astra GTC, parked on the road outside the Liberal Club, was smashed.

At 7.22pm on Wednesday 8 may in Eden Close, Hucknall, a front window was smashed. Two males walked off, one had a bat and the second some other object, turning right onto Polperro Way. Both had hoods on.

At 4.40pm on Friday 3 May in Goodall Crescent, Hucknall, a report of a group of lads sat on the communal stairs to a block of flats, making lots of noise, kicking the bannisters and smoking drugs.

Around 1.57pm on Monday 6 May in High Street, Hucknall, a report of three 12/13 year old youngsters on the roof of the Post Office.
