Attached below is information from Nottinghamshire police who are holding a “Community Kicks Day” Sunday 9th June at Gresham Sports Park in Notts.

This is a force wide community engagement and 7 a-side youth football tournament.

Age groups for teams are: 10-12 | 13-14 | 15-16

At 6.31pm on Monday 6 May at the recreation Ground, Dalestorth Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a group of males and females, ages 12/16 years, breaking into the old changing room building.

At 4.30pm on Thursday 2 May outside the Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton in Ashfield, a black Busbi electric scooter left outside Ladbrokes was stolen by two males. This was recovered later undamaged.

At 9.30pm on Wednesday 8 May in Priestsic Road, a pushbike was stolen from outside ASDA supermarket(on the Wilko’s side) by two males both white, one 6-00”, slim, black tracksuit bottoms, black jacket with hood up and a blue North Face style puffer jacket. The second 6.00” black bottoms, black coat under a black Under Armour coat. The bike was recovered later.

Criminal Damage

Between Monday 22 April and Friday 26 April in Spring Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a rear door of a property was damaged with a sharp instrument which pierced the surface and penetrated into the foam.

At 2.53am on Tuesday 7 May in Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, the main window in a property was smashed by a white male, 5-07”, in a black hoodie with the hood up. A smaller side window had been smashed earlier at around 1.15am.

At 4.20pm on Thursday 2 May at Brookhill Court, Woods Hill, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of rough sleepers gaining access to the communal area of a block of flats. When asked to move on by residents they become abusive.

At 5.25pm on Thursday 2 May at the Lawn Pleasure Grounds, Lawn Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, three motor bikes and a quad bike were being ridden on the Grounds between the pond and the football field. One of the motorbikes was a bright green colour.

At 12.37pm on Sunday 5 May in Broadlands Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of youngsters playing football in the street. The ball hitting houses and cars. The person reporting this had numerous scratches on their car and said this was a daily issue.
