Property Marking Event – Acklington Auction Mart, Morpeth, NE65 9BU. Thursday 16th May 9.30am - 3.00pm

The Rural Crime Team are hosting a Property Marking Event at the Acklington Auction Mart on Thursday 16th May. Please contact the team if you would like to book a slot for FREE property marking. 

The property marking uses Selecta DNA kits which can be used to mark a number of items including trailers, chainsaws, bikes or smaller electrical tools and gardening equipment as well as equine accessories such as saddles and horse tack. 

The rural crime team officers will be on hand to discuss current rural crime trends and offer general crime prevention advice. We are happy to discuss issues in your area so please come along and speak with us or get in contact if you cannot attend the event but would like a marking kit.  

There will be additional marking events in the coming months in other locations with dates to follow.
