MAN JAILED FOR DRUGS OFFENCES

A drug dealer has been jailed for more than four years after we found crack cocaine and heroin at a home in Tamworth.

Dillon Kelleher, 29, from Birmingham, was arrested after we searched a home near Crowden Road in October 2021 and found 26 wraps of drugs, more than £300 in cash and mobile phones.

His drug dealing was proven when we found messages on the phones linked to drug supply in the area.

He was charged and sent to court where he ended up pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

On Wednesday (1 May) at Birmingham Crown Court, he was jailed for four-years-and-three-months.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Bradbury, who dealt the case, said: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to jail another dealer who was intent on distributing harmful drugs within our communities.

“Officers across the force are committed to proactively targeting drug supply and will continue to act on intelligence leads and reports from the public to bring these people to justice.”
