Close and lock all doors and windows, even when you are out in the back garden. Burglary is opportunistic. Hide all your keys and belongings away from sight of windows.Draw all the curtains at night and when you leave the house.Keep an eye out for your neighbours and encourage them to do the same for you.Report any suspicious activity to 999 or 101.As we approach summer months, it is going to become warmer at night. It is important that you: Do not leave your windows open or unlocked.Do not leave an entry point available for criminals.Rather than leaving windows open, find an alternative like a fan or Air Conditioning.Stay vigilant.
