Dear Residents, 

Police are investigating an incident that took place on the 30th April 2024 in the Redhill and Newton Farm area. At around 7pm – 8pm a group of what is believed to be youths, were seen wearing their hoods up with face coverings, including masks. This group proceeded to target two locations where the incidents occurred.

We are appealing to the public to help identify those persons involved. The group consisted of up to 12+ individuals, who are known to have been in and around the Pentwyn Avenue and Hillside Avenue area before going to the area of The Oval in Newton Farm.

We are aware that the images we are sharing may be difficult to identify however, parents or responsible persons are likely to recognise the clothing those involved were wearing. One distinctive person was seen to be wearing a gorilla mask and a light blue chequered shirt.

We would also like to appeal to anyone who may have CCTV on their homes who may have captured footage of this group to please come forward and support with our enquires.
