Last week, officers from Stevenage Intervention Team 1, led by PC Ross McGouldrick, carried out a day of action targeting both retail crime and weapon-related offending. 

Officers conducted high-visibility patrols in the areas of The Oval and Bedwell, engaging with both local residents and businesses, and providing crime prevention advice. This pre-planned operation provided both an opportunity to prevent and deter crime by officer presence, as well as to gain a deeper insight into how members of the community feel about local crime and safety issues.
